About Our Food Journey

From the restored original brick, reclaimed wood floors to the imported Italian wood-burning oven, one step inside Deano's Italian in downtown Dublin, GA is enough for you to know that you are in for a treat. Call us to learn more about our services.

Robert and Jennifer Shaffer arrived in Dublin, GA in November of 2008 from Boynton Beach, Florida where Robert was the Executive Chef of a high-end catering company and Jennifer was the owner of a wedding planning service. 
They immediately began catering for local events while testing the restaurant waters. In October of 2009, the opportunity to buy the Deano's Italian business came to light and by April 2010 they had taken over the business. Since then changes have been made to the menu and service style of Deano's Italian making it the perfect place to bring family and friends for dinner or a celebration!
